Burley, Leeds. October 1970. Photos by Ken Wakefield. In the autumn of 1970, my dad Ken went to a poor area of Leeds that was due to be cleared. He was there to create a photographic record of the houses that were due to be demolished. To his surprise, there were many young families and kids still living in these houses.
